Sage
Enjoy the many uses of Sage
Sage as a gardening plant and in the kitchen, and as decoration
In the garden, sage is a pretty plant that produces velvety, silver green foliage. It also produces small silver flowers in early summertime. It is an attractive plant, good for an edging plant. It grows well and is hardy in zones 3-9
In the kitchen, sage can be used for many things. Everything from egg and vegetable dishes, to poultry and stuffings and salads all benefit from the use of sage.
Some have used Sage as a decorative plant in wreaths. Some have used a sage rinse on hair to bring back the shine and luster to dark colored hair. In the past, wools have been dyed a gray or yellow color using sage. It is even an insect repellent some say. What a great herb to have around.

Sage
I have grown Sage before, Salvia officinalis, and its a great herb. I will grow it again this summer.
If you have never tried your hand at gardening, why not this coming spring or summer? Many herbs even do well indoors.
